American Stimulus? Your ASS!!!
I was astounded to find that this company building large road, freeway and other municipal infrastructure projects will require the inspector they seek to be able to perform inspections on major components in India, China, and the UK. Interesting that our infrastructure "INVESTMENT" has found its way to purchase large forgings and castings from these countries, while the US forging and casting industry is in the tank!
Time to wake up AMERICA. Our government has sold us all out. I am more convinced than ever that this government desires our economy to fall apart so we will gladly accept anything to help us survive including socialism. If it is not this perverse, then it is even more stupid than I thought previously. We are Americans funding the world while Americans lose their jobs and our government invests our grandchildren's financial future into other countries for our own homeland projects?
Makes no sense to this writer.....Folks: TIME TO SHARPEN YOUR PITCHFORKS!!!!!

Death Of a Nation

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law,
St. Paul, Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the Presidential election:
Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29
Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2.1
Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won was mostly
the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Democrat territory mostly
encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of
government welfare..." Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the
"complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty
percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's and
they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years

Civics Lesson from A Third Grade Teacher
From a teacher in the Nashville area
We are worried about "the cow" when it is all about the "Ice Cream"
The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year. The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president.
We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.
To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members. We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have. We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.
The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good
kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother.
The day arrived when they were to make their speeches Jamie went first. He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best. Every one applauded. He sat down and Olivia came to the podium.
Her speech was concise. She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." She sat down. The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream."
She surely would say more. She did not have to. A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn't sure. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it. She didn't know. The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream.
Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a land slide.
Every time Barack Obama opens his mouth he offers ice cream, fifty percent of the people react like nine year olds. They want ice cream. The other fifty percent know they're going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess.

Rhett Cochran
Rhett: I could not say it better: I AM CONFLICTED!
OK, this is a Midwesterner's wet dream. Bears vs. Colts for Super Bowl XLI. This is simultaneously the happiest and most morally confusing day of my life. To explain... I grew up in Northern Indiana in an area referred to by the rest of the state simply as The Region. It's called that because it's not really like the rest of Indiana what with the industry and beaches. But, of course, it's not Illinois or Michigan either so it's just The Region. Being from The Region, I grew up a Bears fan, which as a boy was easy to do because of Walter Payton. Even when the Bears STUNK there was Walter Payton. Super Bowl XX. Bears 46, Patriots 10 - awesome day. Still love that team to this DAY. It's the first game that I really remember watching intently with my dad.
Fast forward a decade. It's 1995 I'm now living in Indianapolis and the Bears are so bad that you can't watch any of their games anymore. These are the dark times. Dave Wannstedt. Michael McCaskey. Alonzo Spellman. Moses Moreno at quarterback. Meanwhile, former Bears QB Jim Harbaugh is "letting 'er rip" in Indy. Well, it was an easy transition. I never stopped loving the Bears, but the Colts had crept into my heart.
The Bears, of course, got better. They righted the ship and got back to what made the franchise great: defense and running. The Colts, under Manning, became a perennial power. Still, though, I figured my dual allegiance would NEVER be a problem. I mean, what are the odds that the Colts and the Bears would be Super Bowl bound in the same year and that would really be the only time that it mattered. So you see my dilemna.
So the Colts and the Bears will square off in what I think could be one of the all time great matchups: Manning's offense against Urlacher's defense. What a chess match! Dungy vs. Lovie.
I should feel conflicted but I just feel... well euphoric comes to mind. I also can't help but think that dad would really love this too.

Owner/GM-Jeff's RANTS
HELP ME PLEASE!!!
I am the owner: I am Allowed to Rant!
American Idol is making me sick. I FEEL LIKE A VOYEUR. Why do they need to stage such horrible acts in the first several episodes, as thought there is no talent in existence in the US? I could not beleive that the producers had over 10,000 people available at the auditions in Minneapolis, and they gave us the pudgy, sloppy, bleach blond chick from South Holland, Illionois as an actual auditioner? I mean come on! I am not foolish enough, after numerous trips to the twin cities and everywhere else in this country to beleive that American Idol could not at least present 2 hours of good, real acts in the opening shows.
It angers me that so many great musicians were NOT looked at nor given a chance during these auditions. A REAL IDOL may have been overlooked because he/she did not wear an Apollo Creed Uncle Sam Suit, Dress in Drag, or show up 200 pounds heavier than Luther Vandross at his largest!
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed William Hung as much as you did, but let's not try to create a new one every season, and certainly do not try show me 1.25 hours of the worse singers they could find in Seattle for a two hour program. (Of the 1.25 hours of rubbish, they presented us mostly staged horrible acts)
Obviously these people could not sing, carry a tune in a bucket, or know the difference between a "G" and an "E" or a Sharp and a Flat
BUT THEY KNEW THAT BEFORE THEY APPEARED
FOR THEIR 5 MINUTES OF FAME
(AS AN IDIOT ON TELEVISION)
Stealing precious exposure from those who COULD be Entertainers and perhaps Idols if they actually were able to be featured.
I guess these horrible singers are not much more talented as actors, as nobody I have spoken to thinks for a minute that the contestants really beleived they were any good at all.
SO, If you are angry like me, then let me know: EMAIL HERE and tell me to
